Crystal Palace in El Retiro Park in Madrid

The Palacio de Cristal (Crystal Palace) is a building in the Parque del Buen Retiro in the Spanish capital of Madrid.
It was built by architect Ricardo Velázquez Bosco who was inspired by Joseph Paxton's now-vanished Crystal Palace in London.
Its design is from 1887 and it was built to display tropical plants from the Philippines. The iron frame rests on a brick base. This palace is also known for its reflection in the pond.
