House of Antony Gaudi in Barcelona
On an estate on Muntanya Pelada in the district of La Salut, Eusebi Gűell wanted to build a residential area that was inspired by the garden city concept. In this the return to the wholesome, the natural and the flight from the unhealthy city was propagated. Gaudi worked on this park between 1900 and 1914 and went to live there in 1906. Of the planned 60 houses, only two were built due to lack of interest and financial problems. The 2 houses that stand there can thus come from a fairy tale.
