Monastery Rousanou Meteora is located on mainland Greece, in Thessaly, department Trikala. After the holy mountain Athos, it is the most important monastery center in Greece. Meteora belongs absolutely to the Top 10 sights of Greece. Today only the monasteries Megalo Meteoro, Varlaam, Agia Triada, Agios Stefanos, Rousanou and Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas still exist and they are still in use.
