Hansel and Gretel Cottage in Vancouver Island, Brits Columbia

Bruce Winckler had this special little house built on a cliff along the ocean that seems to have run away from a story by the Brothers Grimm. He got the idea when he saw a fairytale tree house built by Timothy Lindberg and Daniel Huscroft. He approached the men with his plan. They not only built the house, but also made the special design. Bruce has a view of the ocean from his home and sees whales and seals playing with each other alongside passing boats. This, of course, only gives the house an extra fairytale feel.
