Toll house in Staverton, Wiltshire
The cottage was built around 1790 and became a toll house by act of parliament in 1799.
It served as such until 1860, at which time it was sold to a cloth worker, Moses Barratt of nearby Trowbridge, for the sum of 75 pound.
