The Magdala tower

The Magdala tower, a stone tower firmly attached to the domain, was the favorite place of meditation for Bérenger Saunière. He liked to isolate himself from reading or working on his stamp collection. The entrance is accessible from the belvèdere along a walkway, a kind of terrace overlooking the plateau. The view is extraordinary and at night, in clear weather, you can see the fires of 24 villages.
