Windmill Fram in the Netherlands
In the village of Woltersum, the Fram windmill is very adventurous named after the ship Fram by the Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen. Bouwheer Evenhuis was a great admirer of this polar explorer and scientist. The mill was not only a sawmill, but also a corn and peeling mill. This combination only occurs twice in the Netherlands. The windmill certainly lives up to its name. Fram means forward.
