Castle Sandenburg is a castle in Langbroek in the province of Utrecht, it belongs to the estate of the same name Sandenburg
and is on the Langbroekerwetering.
The castle is mentioned for the first time in 1391 in that year it was loaned to Jan van Zijl. In 1792 the residential tower was bought by Gijsbert Jan baron van Lynden. Between 1861 and 1865 F.A.C Graaf van Lynden of Sandenburg had it extended by the Utrecht architect Samuel Adrianus van Lunteren to the present castle. The castle is still privately occupied by the Lynden van Sandenburg family.
