Victorian mansion

A Victorian mansion in the picturesque countryside of the Argyll Forest Park. In 1862 Piers bought Patrick the estate Benmore near Dunoon. Benmore House is used as an educational center for outdoor activities and is normally not accessible to the public. In 1870, a wealthy sugar refinery and philanthropist named James Duncan bought the property. He built a gallery in Benmore House to exhibit his collection of visual arts, but he also began to improve the large area around the house.
