The church of Saint Ildefonsus is a Roman Catholic church in the Portuguese city of Porto, located near the Batalha square. The construction of the church began in 1709 and was completed on July 18, 1739. The church is named after Ildefonsus of Toledo, the bishop of Toledo from 657 to 667. It is built in early baroque style. In the church there is an altarpiece of the Italian architect Niccolò Nasoni. The church has been renovated several times, such as after a heavy storm in 1819 and after the building was damaged by shelling on 21 July 1833, during the Portuguese civil war.
