Pete Nelson (born June 4, 1962) is an American master treehouse builder, and since 2013, host of the Animal Planet television show Treehouse Masters
Nelson became excited about treehouses at the age of 5 when his dad built him a tree fort behind the garage of their Ridgewood, New Jersey home but it wasn't until 1987 that he built his first adult treehouse in his Colorado Springs backyard. Pete Nelson is graduate of Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
